(hrast) I’m a big fan of PHD and I have one suggestion for some future version of the program. Could you include time lapse parameter for the DEC axis? I think that if the mount is not perfectly, but very well align, that is no need for the corrections for the DEC as much as the RA axis. I think that this could reduce some possible vibrations in the setup.

UPDATED 1/28/2010

I know that this doesn’t have anything to do with Imaging, but I thought that I would put down some tips to help protect you from identity theft. Identity theft is now the number one crime and it’s getting worse. Working in the retail business FOR 23 years I see countless people getting their informaion stolen and they say “I JUST DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT THAT” Never get an attitude that you know everything there is to know about protecting yourself. That’s how thieves ge…

The PHD Program is pretty much simple to use, just point and click. Just read the instructions. I have decided to make a Q&A – or trouble shoot list - for the NEW user. Updated 8.06.09

* (snazzysoftware) Add support for the new Starlight Xpress SXVR camera range. Starlight Xpress software reports SXVR-H9 as (SXVIO=272, OS=5.1, PID=0119). Would happily provide more info and test beta-version.
	* (dherndonnc) preconfigured exposure settings you can select from a drop down. Nameable so you can jump between frame/focus/preview/capture/fine by just selecting the settings group you predefined. ditto on more progress bars for everything, and values displayed for all sliders.

updated 7/10/09

Problem Connected my camera fine and the focusing works ok. I established that 0.01s was a good exposure level for focusing but when I take a full exposure (preview) I just get a white image irrespective of exposure time, even 0.001 sec. What am I doing wrong? What happens when frame and focus is working? Does it make the camera more sensitive?
